Welcome to the debut blog of our “Missouri Antiques and Flea Market Directory” road trip series! Before we hit the road, let me introduce myself and my co-author for this exciting journey. I’m Steve Davis, a retired business owner from Lebanon, Missouri, happily sharing life with my better half, Melanie. We have a passion for exploring antique stores and flea markets while hunting for unique and eclectic treasures. Recently, we took on a new adventure—purchasing a ranch-style home in need of a full renovation. Our days are filled with remodeling, thoughtfully furnishing each room with special finds from our trips that complement our home’s original charm.

Beyond renovating our new home, we love spending weekends on the road, exploring antique shops and hunting for hidden treasures. Missouri is filled with fascinating stores and lively flea markets, and we hope to showcase many of the unique places we visit—along with some of the special finds we’ll uncovered along the way.

Why Create an Online Directory?

Our mission is threefold:

1. Exploring & Showcasing – We aim to visit and shop at every antique store and flea market across Missouri, starting in our hometown of Lebanon. Along the way, we’ll highlight what makes each store special.
2. Documenting & Connecting – Each visit will be carefully documented as we interview store owners and managers. With their permission, we’ll feature their stores and showcase standout items in our growing online directory.
3. Sharing & Inspiring – We want to bring our experiences and discoveries directly to you—our fellow antique enthusiasts—through the Missouri Antiques and Flea Market Directory. Our hope is that this directory not only makes finding stores easier but also inspires you to embark on your own antiquing adventures.
